As a Web Design Intern at Advisors Excel in Topeka, KS, I have spent the past year helping maintain client websites by taking requests through a ticketing system, and contributing to larger projects when possible. Some of my responsibilities include updating current sites using Wordpress and Webflow, designing email signatures and templates on Figma, and coding out these designs when necessary using HTML and CSS.

* Please note some of the information on these designs has been redacted for the privacy of the office.
A recent project I had the opportunity to work on was a recruitment mockup for a potential new recruit with an anticipated production range of 20 million.

I was provided a basic template with copy from Relume, and worked with its built-in components in Figma to rework the template to match the branding and voice of the company.
One of the projects I often take on as an intern is designing email signatures for a client. The range of direction given varies, but I often use their website design and brand standards as guidelines to ensure their signatures match the story of their company.
The offices we design for often host client events and sent out invites via email. For this project I took the provided copy and their specific requests to craft an email template in Figma. I used the colors of their logo to create a Kentucky Derby themed invitation specifically for Mother's Day, trying to find a balance between the derby and elements which would feel welcoming.

This template would later be coded out using HTML and CSS so the office could copy and paste it for their own use, I took this into account while working on the design.
