The Stitched Hummingbird is a monthly crochet subscription box. The company owner was looking for branding which conveyed a stress-free, warm, and welcoming feeling. They wanted to place an emphasis on how easy the craft could be, as the target audience would consist of beginners and people receiving it as a gift.
Created a moodboard using Adobe Illustrator and used these themes to create a calm but bubbly color scheme.
After creating the moodboard I drew some logos with pencil and paper, then took these into Illustrator to clean up and add color. I used the hummingbird character and hand drawn lines to keep the organic, handmade feeling.
After creating the logo I took it into Adobe Photoshop and used it on a series of mockups. I created stationary, business cards, and some of the products the logo could be displayed on.
The subscription box would come with yarn in custom packaging, created this image in photoshop using a pre-made yarn label mockup, and blending modes/drop shadows to make them fit in the environment
